The NOVEHA nasal spray is a 30 ml, no-drip spray made for everyday nasal hygiene. It contains 1% povidone-iodine together with vitamin D3 and aloe vera. It is designed to help rinse away pollen, dust and other particles that collect in the nose during the day.
Povidone-iodine is a form of iodine bound to a polymer called povidone. This allows the iodine to be released slowly, which makes it gentler than plain iodine. It has been used in personal care and first aid products for many years.
Gently blow your nose first. Shake the bottle if the label says so, keep your head upright, and insert the tip just inside one nostril. Spray while breathing in gently, then repeat on the other side. Clean the tip after use and do not share the bottle with others. Always follow the directions and age guidance on the label.
Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before using an iodine-based product if you are allergic or sensitive to iodine, have a thyroid condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are taking other nasal medicines. Stop using the spray if you notice irritation, nosebleeds or any other unusual reaction.
